It hasn't been rated or anything yet but I'd put money on it being released just before SSBB comes out. They're doing the same thing with Metroid. Metroid and Super Metroid will both be released very soon (GameFAQs lists them as 8/13 and 8/20 which is why I'm in this forum looking right now to confirm that if possible) so they're upping the hype any little way they can. I dunno who had the say, but I remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES got put up the same week the TMNT movie was released. I don't have any proof, just educated guess that I'm willing to bet on.

That would be awesome if they put SSB1 on. One of my all time faves on the N64.

There is nothing special about the N64 version. The Gamecube one is where it is at.....

I think it would be smart for Nintendo to release SSB on the Virtual console at the time of the Wii SSB game. It's just smart business. Make that money Nintendo. lol

People will buy SSB64 regardless if brawl happened to get pushed back till next year. It's a fact~
