    saving games on VC

Is there a way to save a game on the VC? I got Super Mario Bros. 1 yesterday and was playing, but had to turn it off to do something else and was in the middle of a level. Is there a way to save it so that I can return to that level in the future?

Just press the Home button the remote and go back to the Wii menu, the VC game will stay essentially paused at that spot until you come back.

Yes, you are lucky that you can save it. Couldn't do that back in the day.

Yes Skippy is right. I think you meant though if you could save it in a file. Mose games you can have seperate files, but Super Mario Bros. 1 is an old NES game with no actual save feature.
