which neo geo game is the best

Imo out of those 3 the art of fighting is prolly the best, however thats pretty sad. As an arcade machine owner these games don't do the neo justice.

The best Neo Geo games, possibly the only decent Neo Geo games, are the King of Fighters and Samarai Showdown series. King of Fighters '95 is better than SF2 Turbo. Dunno if that was out on Neo Geo or Saturn though.

I don't like the KoF series, the metal slug series can't be beat imo.

Answering the original question, I would say World Heros would be the best fighter at the moment.

Reason:
Better controls and more characters to select from. Combos can actually be done but is hard due to detection errors.

My ranking from what I remember: (used to love playing all these one on one fighters when I was a kid, but I'm still playing street fighter).

Best Story: Fatal Fury
Best Control: Worldheros
Best graphics: Art of Fighting
Best Street Fighter Copy: Art of Fighting
Best Replay value: Worldheros
Best sequels: Fatal Fury (NOTE KOF are part of the Fatal Fury Storyline and it expands on it)

I'm a big Neo Geo fan and personally, I'm still waiting to buy lots of other Neo Games. They still need to release Goal Goal Goal, Tecmo World Cup, Super Baseball 2020, Neo Turf Masters, and the later King Of Fighters
