It's true that I like a lot of unpopular Pokemon. I'll bold the ones in my post that I think should be more popular then they are, or at least ones that I think would appeal to more people if it weren't for nostalgia.

Gens 1 and 2 aren't the best lol. The Pokemon you consider "rememberable" (memorable) mostly being in the first two gens is just because you're a victim of nostaliga, like many unfortunate others.

Yes, but when it takes control of your entire perception of a series, and turns you into an annoyance to unbiased fans, it turns into a problem. I like Hitmonchan due to nostalgia. But I don't think that it's better then all of the later Pokemon just cause of that.
