For those who aren't familiar with the TurboGrafx-16 system, here is a short paragraph that goes into more detail on the system and its capabilities.

The TurboGrafx-16 is known as the PC Engine in Japan. The PC Engine was sold by NEC-HE – a collaboration between NEC and Hudson Soft. Developed for home use, it is based on the HE-SYSTEM code standard and was released in Japan on October 30, 1987. The TurboGrafx carried an LSI “C62 system” which Hudson originally developed. It boasted high speeds and performance for that time - especially for CPU processing speed - and showcased incredible graphics (512 colors) and a powerful sound chip (6ch stereo, output 2ch sounds). It was a dramatic evolution of the video game console – leaping ahead of 8-Bit competition at that time. Hudson also provided the plastic ROM “Hu-CARD (Turbo Chip)” which allowed for huge storage sizes on a small-sized ROM. Hudson released the PC Engine CD-ROM2 video gaming system on December 4, 1988, which used CD-ROM as a gaming media platform for the first time, worldwide. The TurboGrafx-16 was sold as the localized version of PC Engine in North America in 1989.
Hudson also released some packshot artwork for these VC titles, you can see the boxart in the gallery here:
