    Yup, first class delivery selected. Interestingly, the new FAQ on the site says...

    've pre-ordered a Wii from Amazon.co.uk. Will I get it on launch day (December 8, 2006)?
    UK customers: if you choose First Class delivery, your console should be dispatched in time for delivery on December 8...

    ...so I'll remain hopeful that the delivery info on the confirmation email was simply wrong

    December 8th..

    I'll try my luck on day 1 at my local Game shop, took the day off (and a copple more) to be there 4 the opening.
    Too much "finger crossing" for a delivery on release day IMHO, but best of luck to U guys

    I'm French so no boxing day off for me, crappity-crap! anyhow, a good 5 day week-end to celebrate launch should do just as fine...

    Both me and my housemate got ours off amazon, we both ordered first class and got the 14th-15th as delivery date, this is a bug, if you go track packages then view or change order, then deselect and reselect first class it changes the delivery estimate back to 8-9th.

    Just come across ebuyer uk are showing 43 due in, you never know you might be lucky, though they do a package with a couple of games, hence the price is more

    Thanks for the tip. Now says 8-9th for me too. Makes me feel better as I'd already booked the 8th off work.
