Nocturnal has announced today that it will be releasing an updated version of the hit WiiWare game, Flowerworks, in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.* Since its release at the end of last year, Flowerworks has been ranked as one of the Top Ten WiiWare titles on Metacritic.

New features which have been added to the game include two-player co-operative play, a Beginner difficulty level for younger and novice players, a Mastery difficulty level for advanced players who are looking for the ultimate Flowerworks challenge and scores, support for Spanish, German and French, and a special reward for any player that completes the game.

In the game, the player takes the role of Follie, a friendly but confused alien who crash lands on the planet Elilia on her way to deliver some Flowerworks seeds to her Aunty. Noticing that Elilia is rather a drab planet, Follie vows to spruce it up with her Flowerworks, but you’ll have to help her recover all the seeds first.

Flowerworks: Follie’s Adventure is due for release in the third quarter of 2010.
