The Wii is drowning in a sea of runny feaceas
Just as the fifteenth series of America’s Next Top Model kicks off on UK screens (having started on September 8, 2010, in the US), Mastertronic and dtp young have today announced the release of America’s Next Top Model on the Nintendo Wii in the UK. In the game, players get to take on the role of an aspiring model competing for the ultimate prize, to become “America’s Next Top Model”.
It’s up to you what sort of model you want to be. Will you be Fierce or Friendly? At the start of the game you get to choose from four different models and 13 different styles, including Vintage, Romantic and Edgy.
Following the same successful formula as the TV series, one model is dismissed each week after a special challenge. Pick your outfits in a variety of ways as you live out the model lifestyle, be it striking a pose for a photographer, keeping your walk timed perfectly on the catwalk, or making sure that your makeup matches up perfectly to the occasion. For help and advice, you can talk to the other models in the apartment and also get tips from your coach to improve your performance in each task. You’ll be tested on your knowledge of the fashion industry each week by the panel, so make sure you’re as clued up as possible. In order to secure their place in the next round, players must also compete in various categories, including Make Up, Fashion, Catwalk and Photoshoot.
The America’s Next Top Model game features addictive real-time gameplay, a variety of fun mini-games, and interactive story elements, which depend on the relationship with the other contestants, the main character’s boyfriend, and the jurors. The huge 3D world is ripe for exploration, and includes such exotic locations as a mansion, a stunning cityscape and a five-star hotel.
America’s Next Top Model is out now for Wii for £24.99.
