Mad Catz announced today at CES that itís launching two new controllers for the Wii: Reactor Plus and Reflex. The Mad Catz Reactor Plus Controller features state-of-the-art motion-sensing technology, and also has built-in MotionPlus functionality, and all for the same size as a standard Wii remote. The Reactor Plus is compatible with all Wii Motion Plus games, and as well as having responsive, high-quality action buttons, also features Mad Catzí signature Gripz, for improved comfort and protection when playing. In addition to the Reactor Plus, Mad Catz will also be releasing the standard Reactor Controller, which is identical to the Plus version, minus the MotionPlus functionality. Both versions will be shipping in February, with an MSRP of $34.99 for Reactor Plus and $29.99 for Reactor.
The second controller announced by Mad Catz today is the Reflex Controller, which has been designed to complement either the official Wii Remote or the Mad Catz Reactor Plus Controller (essentially it’s a Nunchuck). The Reflex features a sleek ergonomic design and a slip-resistant rubberized analog stick for high levels of analog accuracy. The Reflex will also be shipping from February for an MSRP of $14.99.
Mad Catz will also be releasing separate Micro variants of each controller, designed for those who favour a smaller controller, with each Micro featuring an identical feature set and form factor, only smaller. The Micro controllers will be shipping in March, for the same MSRP as their larger versions.
