Its sluggish, player moves to slow, liner path, weapons dont seem to have a kick to them, takes MC to long to ready a weapon, aiming is slow.

On the plus side snipering via the screen kinda worked

Interesting. Other hands-ons I've read or have seen videos for seem to tbe in favor of the game, but that just goes to show...not everything is for everyone. Looks great to me but I haven't played it yet either. I've already got it preordered so I hope my own opinion of it is more in line with other hands-ons I've read instead of with your opinion (which I DO respect! I'm just hoping to love the game is all) :-) I guess I'll see which side of the coin I end up on when launch day comes.

I rather not try to compare it to L4D since it is a shitty game to me.

Yup, tis true. If you can find a friend to join you though its really well implemented and super fun (one person is the survivor and the other person controls the zombie hordes, trying to set zombie traps for the survivor).

The campaign has sort of a multiplayer twist in that when people die a zombie is created based on them in all of his friend's games (the friend in the meantime begins a new game for himself while his zombie counterart is now a part of the enemy hordes on their friend's games). If you find (or run into by chance) and kill a zombie that was based on a friend's death you can collect some goodies, supplies, ammo, that sort of thing. Of course, just like any other enemy that zombie can kill you too! Its a trippy concept and add some flavor to the campaign.
