I have a Wii and in the past I had a PS2.
Nobody's posted it so I wanted to be the first.
Halo 4 is rumored to be revealed in E3 2008

So I never really understood. Now that Bungie is an independant studio, could they go cross-platform? Or does Microsoft still have some rights?

Not that I'd buy it anyway... Halo is pretty boring IMO.

I doubt it's true...Bungie and Microsoft split. It would be nice, but I sincerely believe that this report is false.

EDIT: I'm not really sure manufan...remember that Halo Wars is 360 exclusive and NOT by Bungie, so it seems the characters and such may still be used by Microsoft, but the engine (since Halo Wars is a different genre all together) may be Bungie's property.

I'm not sure...note that Nintendo hasn't made any attempt at a Banjo-Kazooie game since the split as opposed to Halo Wars being made for the 360. I don't know enough about Square and Disney's relationship to say for sure if it relates to that at all.

this is clearly an attemp to get the fans wild, hell the article has no proof,no nothing, and they have incorrect facts, saying that halo 3 sold 20 million is incorrect, it sold 8 million

Halo is owned by MS. From what I hear, Bungie only owns Master Chief :P So there won't be any Master Chiefs anymore, unless maybe Bungie makes the game. Some crap like that, wierd but yea. But overall MS owns the Halo franchise, just like Nintendo still owns the Donkey Kong franchise even though MS owns Rare.

Also if you watch the new Halo 3 ViDoc by Bungie, one of the guys says "Lets make the announcement!" then the guy whos something like "No not yet, it's not bungie day (Bungie day: 7/7/08). So it's possible they could be announcing a new game? I duno, but it's pretty slim, but if they do it won't be "Halo 4" it will probably be called something else.

That's what I was just gonna say...he was like "The first thing we're gonna announce is..." followed by "No, wait...we're not announcing anything yet!"

So something is brewing, but who knows what =P

Its obvious that they will ovencually (spelt wrong?) make a 4th. Youve made so much money off the first three (and will make more off of an upcoming RTS spinoff), so why not make another?

Well, they are announcing something and it IS a halo game because it's already been accidently confirmed by a MS exec.
