"I can confirm that a game based on the popular Prince of Persia franchise is one of many titles Ubisoft has in development for Nintendo's Wii," a spokesperson for Ubisoft told IGN today. "At this time we can not provide an official date for the game or any additional information about it."

I'm not a PoP fan, but I suppose a lot of you here are! So this is good news for you guys! Lets see how this game turns out to be with Wii's controller functions!

Played the prince of persia versions... I think the Gof of War game was something looking like it... but I liked it more (the god of war).

Very nice. Sands of Time and Two Thrones were both superb, so I'll be looking forward to this.

I heard TT is really good, but short.
SoT is great though, I played a demo, I can't imagine the whole game!

The worst of the trilogy, too much fighting and a lack of atmosphere. And the music is crap.

but it never had the true quality atmasphere of a epic PoP game, i hated it.
I only think it is for weird fanactics who like rock music, boring meaningless fighting, dark atmospheres and gory visuals.

s'pose so, warrior within did have extra freedoms and add on's in it.
such as weapons, combo's, time attacks, enemies and timeframes.
But that was BEFORE TT, TT has these abilities and makes them better therefore making it the best of the trilogy. (i like SoF the best)
+ the main thing i did not like was the constant backtracking. they NEVER had that in the other games
