No Wii Bond game until 2008?

Some of you with good memories might recall back in May Activision announced they had snagged the exclusive rights to develop and publish games based on the James Bond series (previously Electronic Arts).

It was widely thought that with the new James Bond movie opening this year in November (Casino Royale) that a video game offspring would be surfacing sometime early 2007ish?

Well sadly thats not going to be the case

, the rights to the gaming franchise will not become exclusive to Activision until September 2007 therefore they have decided to put off development for Casino Royale and instead focus on the next Bond film due out presumably 2008.

Oh well, lets just hope its worth the wait.

I hope so, although some of the previous bond games were not that good anyway.

ohhh well just hopefully in that time they can think up of some decent ideas. the only good james bond game ive played was golden eye on the 64....whatever game was released after that (on the ps2) wasent that good

Liked every james bond Ive played... even liked more the World is not enough for PS1... liked it more than the N64

Meh. Actvision wouldn't be able to make a James Bond game any where near as good as Goldeneye anyway.

Dam!! I liked james bond games. It was fun to shoot all the bad guys in the head. ( or at least try to ) They better have a good james bond game that is worth the wait. I would also prefer that ea made the games.

Why EA? All EA are good for is cashing in on films and sports events. Activision are a much better company.

yeh, it probably will, they make games like call of duty 2 (which is great), and now 3.

here it doesnt say that they are making james bond: http://www.activision.com/en_US/game_list/game_list.jsp but then again, i dont see why they would, its only comming in 2008

Yeah it does suck how we hvae to wait till 2008 but when the time comes, it will be the best bond game like ever. Activision is da bomb, like said previously they did make call of duty and that game was the bomb aswel. So expect a bond that is better than any bond every (except maybe goldeneye.......goldeneye was dam good)
