EA have today announced a new Wii exclusive title planned for release in 2007. Boogie is a unique music/rhythm-based game that takes advantage of the innovative Wii controls to get gamers off their couch, playing and dancing to a new beat.
Taken from their press release, EA say:

Boogie will have gamers dancing, singing and starring in their own music videos. Players can also choose and customize different characters in the game to best show off their dancing style and karaoke skills. With innovative gameplay that perfectly matches the unique Wii controls, Boogie is the ultimate videogame party package.

Yeah its meant to draw DDR players to the Wii which I think is cool. We do have DDR coming out for the Wii right? Pretty sure thats a yes but I just want to confirm it. I'm not at all into DDR but a lot of my friends are. Anyways I won't buy this game but I'll admit the concept is interesting and the screenshots look cool. Looks like EA is really enjoying the Wii and making great use of its capabilities which is awesome of course.

Sounds like a great idea. Hopefully the implementation will follow through on the idea. I could see this being a great game for my family.

I agree with loose cannon, just get a 24 pack with about 4 or 5 friends, and let the good times roll
