So...wouldn't all it take...is just order it from somewhere where it IS legal? I mean how does banning a game in certain regions help at all if the person can get it from somewhere else?

Without a doubt that has to play a huge role in it. It wouldnt suprise me at all if studies showed that making the movements rather then just pressing buttons causes more aggressive thoughts or actions..
That doesnt explain why the PS2 version was banned.
Dam thats s bummer for those who were gonna get it, well i wasn't but this could go on the downfall of the wii list of being over protective to kids.

Rockstar can appeal the ban to the Video Appeals Committee, an independent body chaired by John Woods. According to Sue Clark of the BBFC, there have only been about 20 appeals since 1984, and about half have been successful. The bulk of games to be banned by the BBFC have been pornographic; the last mainstream game to receive a ban was Carmageddon in 1997.
I wouldn't be surprised if the BBFC reversed their decision if enough people complain, I remember hear a similar story a while ago but I can't quite recall what game it was. In any case it won't stop the people who really want manhunt 2 from getting a copy.

Its pathetic. Unfortunatley there people out there who can't differentiate between whats real and whats fiction. The silly thing is, brutal murders and the like will happen regardless of banning thing like this.
