I have been through the 'stock' set and am on my second pair of energizers on my player 1 wii-mote. On my first pair of energizers on player 2.
Will get rechargables when it is not so painful to go out shopping (ie: after the new year)

I went through about 3 PAIRS before finishing Zelda, and playing Wii Sports and tinkering with the Wii interface. I got fed up and bought 2 pairs of rechargeable Energizer batteriess with the charger.
The wiimote eats batteries faster than Paris eats wiimotes.

I am still on my first pair of batteries but when I get Twilight Princess, Call of Duty 3 and Red Steel for Christmas I am going to be spending a lot more on batteries.

rechargable batteries guys, they last longer than regular batteries and you can use em lots of times!

well just used up another pair now i'm on set 7 luckily my mom bought me some rechargable batteries to use after these ones go out while playing zelda of course lol

even tho wii manual tells us not use anything other than Akaline batteries..I used my digi cam battery..NiMH 2000 mAh 15 minure recharagable rayovac 
Lasted me....like 30 hrs of game play.and its down to like 3 bar =]
