Nuke RedL

I was a wee lad of about 10years old when I discovered SpaceInvaders , that was 26 years ago now . And I have been playing video games ever since .
Along the way I've had a variety of home gaming consoles.
Currently I've got 2x Xboxs and an Xbox360 . The kids also have DS's. I'll have to wait until mid-Jan to get hold of a Wii .
But what I wanted to know , are there any other "old" gamers out there ?
And what was some of your favourite games from the early days ?
I remember games like Phoenix , Moon Cresta , and Defender (actually the list goes on forever / there are probably many more games I've forgotten about) .
Was there any one game that stood out above the rest ?

I'm not much of an "old" gamer, because I'm only 14, but one of my favorite snes games was Earthbound. I'd still play it today if my sister didnt sell it on ebay
