I used to play Mario vs Luigi with my nephew on DS, and he'd beat me (I was always Luigi because I'm a soft arse) all the time, until I got used to the controls and the layout of the game. Then I kept on kicking his arse.
I don't think anyone would win, because that ginger bowser would just capture the princess whilst they fought and then they'd have to put their fight behind them to rescue the princess, and then like a good disney film they all learn a lesson in the end.

simple physics answer mario would be able to take more damage cuz hes fat but luigi would be able to punch faster but not take as much damage so heres wat would happen:
mario would eventually land a punch in the bak of luigi`s head than luigi would run around mario 5 times mario would get dizzie pass out then luigi would laugh before the concussion sets in and luigi passess out.

Hehe, did a four stock match, mario vs luigi on the battlefield map (both level 9). Did it 3 times and it was: Mario 2, Luigi 1. It took a long time though, the bots are pretty dumb. Although mario won best of 3, i think both are a fair match
