Few Suggestions:

- You need to blend the render in more.
- Text needs to be blended in more.
- Needs a border.

Other then that it's alright. However I would try using some tutorials for you next sig.

Cheers I guess i'll work on it tomorrow, could you explain what exactly you mean by blend the render in more, and shouldnt the text stand out not be hidden more then I thought it is?

I think i see what you mean, it didnt quite go to plan and I got frustrated and couldn't work out how to do it so did it an easier way which didnt quite work either lol, but i know how to do it properly now and i guess i'll work on that

To blend in the text or add effects just go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending options and just mess around with some of the options. Also by blending in the text it makes the sig look better.

Usually the background color scheme matches the render, makes the sig look really nice, overall.
