cheapist i can get ram is about £50 (thats for 2x 2GB sticks at 557) not sure how good that RAM would be if you got it.

MWave (here in the states) has MWave branded (which has been *very* reliable for me) for $33.50 per 2GB (PC25300/667Mhz) or $35 per 2GB (PC26400/800Mhz).

That's with a 1 year warranty - they offer a lifetime warranty upgrade for $5.95/DIMM), though I've never had any go bad (and I'm using it on VERY critical business machines).
