I just moved this thread to general wii chat, didnt realise i put it in the hardware section.

Nintendo is becoming like a religion, not because of all these people following them, but the fact, people who once loved sony, are now being converted to nintendo, i saw this with my own eyes.
Either its the apocolypse, or dnintendo are cooking up something great... like usual :P.
My annoying little brother LOVES sony, well, LOVED, sony, Hes got everything imaginable by sony, and not just the games consoles, But now ive noticed, he hasnt used his psp in over 4 months, his playstation is sat behind a load of old stuff on his desk, and he just flogged his ps1 for a tenner....and now hes even nagging me to give him my normal ds, as ive got the DS lite now, but i aint gonan give in :P .
My dad still wants the ps3 though, but he aint very technical, hes one of those people who just thinks that graphics and media players are essential in a video game... im sure hell find the error of his ways when i get a wii and dont let him use it

The whole point to this really, is to point out , that once again, the big N, is attracting more customers than ever, and i think the wii will do alot better sales wise, than thought.

I'm one of the 'converted', sort of. I owned a PSX for most of my life, then moved solely to PC, and now for the first time ever I'm a Nintendo-er.

If it's any consolation, I never did buy PS2. And, our family did own a N64 that was hardly ever used.

You should show the wii to your dad!

Ill do more than show him, ill rub it in his face (not literally of course) and brag about the fact i wont end up with dislocated wrists using the motion sensor ability on the wii.
If you got one, get a ps2 controlle,r and pretend youre using it liek a ps3.... it really hurts your wrists! nwo, imagine youre a hardcore gamer, with a ps3 , and you spent a while with a racing game....your poor old wrists!

I have to say I used to be a extreme fanboy of sony but then sadly the ps3 price was found out sniff...... WHY SONY WHY????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I found refuge in Nintedno but at least my ps2 is still going strong they coudnt ruin that system!

I converted to Nintendo because of the Wii, GC and SSBM.

you can still hack the sony psp, u just have to downgrade to 1.50 or lower (the lower the better, i think) as far as hacking goes, but yea nintendo is a religion lol, i've followed nintendo forever, my brother used to make fun of me, he was always like "haha u got a cheap little purple lunch box, but then again, it's for girls"...loser lol

nintendo most of the way, i had my xbox phase just to play halo, found out halo gets boring, cause once you beat it on legendary by yourself theres not really much more to do, so i sold the xbox then used my n64 cause i was into comp games, then one day while me and my friend were getting chinese i decided to buy a gamecube
