What a finish tonight - Mets lose to Atlanta Braves and Yankees lose to Redsox (7-6) @ Fenway Park. Arod had 2 home-runs but they fell behind toward the 8th & 9th.

first, i will admit, schill did not have his best stuff tonight, and a-rod did hit 2 home runs off of him...

BUT

WHAT A COMEBACK!!!
This was postseason tension baseball:
- 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th to go ahead by one, with a RIVERA BLOWN SAVE (he has the most blown saves of his career against the sox, 11)
- Okajima, not even listed as a closer, comes in and SAVES the game against the TOP of order
- and *ahem* alex "the chokemeister" rodriguez gets back to his normal self and re-earns his nickname...turns out he is human

4-2 after 5 Giants

EDIT: true after 8, to the last detail, now Benitez needs to blow the game

That was a pretty good prediction. Kinda scary actually

How about the game coming up? Last time Zito pitched against the Diamondbacks he shut them down. 1 ER in 9.2 innings pitched.

3rd: 6 pitch inning for Cain, looks too easy for him; Peter Happy with a solo shot! 1-0 Giants!
4th: Cain is abusing them, 1 walk, but a quick DP; 740 beyotches!!! our offense right now composes of solo HR's. 2-0 Giants!
5th: Cain is flat-out dealing right now!; the new daddy, Peter Happy gets a single, but no more runs, still 2-0 Giants!
6th: uno, dos, tres; see top half of 6th 2-0 Giants
7th: a walk, but Cain's gone 7 scoreless throwing 84 pitches; Bonds gets called out, DP after that, still 2-0 Los Gigantes
