Lo Duca is overrated in my opinion, but more power to the Jays, the 3rd best team in the AL East.

The L.A. Dodgers make a Free Agent signing and pick up Andruw Jones, 2 year deal worth 36 million. I was really hoping that the Padres would make a play at signing him, but I guess that is neither here nor there anymore. Maybe they'll resign Cameron and Bradley, since they were two of the better contributers to that offense. (Terrible offense, great pitching)

Another trade that was very very close to being done has just been squashed

Tigers were gonna trade D-Train and Pudge to the Mets it wasnt clear who the Mets were gonna give up...BUT anyway the deal has been squashed

Yes, I know theyre called prospects and although it doesnt make them bad, its more likely that they are bad than good...I still think that trading players who you already know for a fact are good players and successful in the MLB away for prospects that you dont know how good they will be in the MLB is too much of a risky move. Maybe its a smart move on the Marlins part, but it will take them years to recover.

I don't believe that is true at all. There is a reason they are referred to as prospects over that of other minor leaguers, they show promise and it is a good way to keep payroll down and play for the future, which doesn't make fans happy but it makes management happy. I see your point of getting established players, but you have to consider the Marlins are not exactly shelling out dollars for their players and they most likely will not change that philosophy any time soon.

Tori Hunter! That's the name I was thinking of! Don't know if I spelled the first name right, but I'm pretty sure it's Tori...well, I'm sure it starts with a "T" at any rate...

Either way, AMAZING rotational outfield next season!!! I mean come on, Hunter, Anderson, Matthews Jr, and...um...crap, I'm bad at remembering names...our left fielder xD This will be a good season...

How are you going to forget about Vlad? and btw he plays right field last time I checked. And yes it is Tori, not sure if its with one or two I's but yea.

DUH! My bad...I remembered Vlad, just knew about his hitting, not fielding =P

And I could have sworn Anderson was in Right...wait...I think I'm backwards...Right Field is on the right from who's perspective? The catcher's? If so, then I coulda sworn Anderson was in Right. But if it's backwards (kinda like Stage Right-Stage Left being from a different perspective...but now I can't even remember which is which on STAGE! I need sleep O_o)

Just so we aren't confused anymore here is how it works, the field positions are essentially from the batter/catcher's perspective. Vlad is in RF, Anderson is in LF, Matthews Jr. was in CF, but I think Torii Hunter will be taking that spot over and Matthews will play either LF and Anderson will be DH or vice versa.

And it's vice-versa, but since Anderson and Matthews are older players they're apparently going to switch off quite a bit, especially with all the injuries from last year O_o

Hunter is a good hitter, not amazing, but he is good, definitely a nice addition, and we all know about his fielding.

Hm, fair enough...already knew about his fielding, like you said, but we need more solid hitters besides Vlad. But I guess if our offense is down, at least we have an AMAZING defense!

You don't need to worry about Hunter's offense, he is quite good, he's no A-rod, but he'll definitely compliment Vlad's bat in the lineup.
