Jorge Julio struck again and only got one out in the bottom of the 9th.
Finally the skipper took him out of the game and Lee Gardner moped it up.

There was bad blood between the owner and Girardi almost from the start. Oh well, I believe the players like Fredi better anyway. Fredi has coached under Bobby Cox for a good number of seasons and it shows.

you know, nothing personal, but how in the hell could anybody be a marlins fan? don't get me wrong, you guys have 2 more titles than we do since moving to frisco, but how can you take the 100+ loss seasons after fire sales? is it just knowing that in 2-3 years your prospects will be hella good enough to win a title and then you'll trade them all for more prospects and keep the cycle going? personally, i think that team should be in vegas they're so high and low.

I am a fan. I was a fan in 93 and I will die a Marlins fan. From what I can see the reason why the Marlins have been in this situation has been the owners and the stadium.

1. The lease we have for the stadium is a death trap. The fish get NO money from parking, concessions, and I believe suites from what I have heard.

2. The stadium is a football stadium. A lot of rain delays, extreme sun burns, and bad stadium location.

3. The owners we have had don't like to lose money. So the lease screws them and then they screw us.
