How many People Here Type Grammatically Correct?

I try my best to spell correctly.

Plus I'm a bit of a neat freak so I tend to space out my sentences and stuff.

At home I'm okay because I've got the spell checker on firefox, but in college I haven't, and it's terrible lol

But I do try my best too, I use capitals when needed and commas and all that, I actually don't know many more of those 'terms' like commas and stuff.. :/ but I know how to use them and stuffs lol.

At least I got an excuse if I got bad spelling lol

I Got An A- In Vocabulary This Year And A C+ In Language Arts! Bear In Mind That I Went To A Private School And C's And B's Are Higher In Points There... And I Got Some Good News For You Guys...

I'm OFFICIALLY A Freshman In High School!

Woot For Me. *sigh* I'm Gonna Miss My School... It Went From PS 1 To 8th Grade And I've been There Every Single Year Of My Life.... But Most Of My Friends Are Gonna Be With Me Though... ^_^

Grading Scale At A Private School

93-100=A
85-92=B
75-84=C
69-74=D

I try the best I can be to grammatically correct, and I'm lucky enough to have a spell check built in to my web browser. But my problem is I'll type the way I, and others, talk sometimes.

who ever says "I'm not going to lie" in everyday conversation. It always comes out "not gonna lie", and that's the way I type. Just as an example.

If I can be bothered then i'll type correctly but most of the time I just type in shorthand.

you say you can type correctly but look at the mistakes you have made. I have underlined them to point them out. I dont say I can type correctly but you dont start a sentence with and. (lol)

So, what you are saying is: "I do not type grammatically correct, since I do not understand the concept of proper capitalization?"

You don't even capitalize the first letter of every word, as you claim to do. It kind of detracts from your "I am right anyway" argument when you are not consistent. I will leave the rest of the errors alone.

That being said, I can at least read your post. There are many posts on this forum that I am unable to understand.

I can read through your English, so I am sure you can read through ours. It is just simple spelling differences. If you ask me, there is only one vowel sound at the end of humor and color, so the 'u' is unnecessary.

Plus, 'z' looks cooler then 's'.

Not really. Closer to proper then others.

Capitalization is a habit you better break before you actually start that freshman year of high school. If you did that in my English class, I would fail every paper. If you know enough to do it right there, you can do it right here.

If you are going to start a thread on being 'correct', at least be correct. Not close, not nearly, but completely. I teach English and I would never say that I am completely correct all the time.

like dakuta said, if you write an english paper like that, you will fail it. You have to get that habbit controlled...

as for me, I know I am not the greatest in grammar, but for english being my second language, I consider myself a good writer... in english...

I'm pretty sure I talk well (proper grammar and the such). Sometimes i'll do the occasional "np", "nm", "w/e". Haven't for a while though. :]
