Didn't the new version on the iPhone cause problems with unlocking it? Just curious, how much room is dedicated for music on the 4GB iPhone when you first got it? I'll be getting the 8GB because I think that's all that is sold these days.

Also you think you're having withdrawals. I've been in Germany since the day the iPhone came out, before the iMacs came out, and now won't be back until after Leopard comes out. I'm dying to get back home and start my spending spree! lol.

Ok so yesterday I went a bit crazy at the online Apple store. I purchased a 24 inch iMac (Leopard pre-installed), 8GB iPhone, 500GB external hard drive, Age of Empires III, and Office 2004. I've put some of it in my signature, but I haven't received any of it yet. Soooooon though.

you get 7.44gigs left on a 8gb

i got a 1.02 and those can be unlocked!

I'm planning on getting a new iMac, just need to raise some money first. They look... beautiful. Don't have any type of iPod though.

NONOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bricked my ipod touch

i barely even got to use it

darn darn darn darn, if htere's anyone knowledgable in this area, is there a possibility to unbrick it? argh, i think i would be abel to restore it though itunes, but itunes thinks it's an iphone and so it dosn't work

They're impossible to brick, let me try to help you. I'm a bit experienced in this area. I have a fully hacked and working beautifully 16gb iPod Touch.
Did you do a force restore?
Tell me everything you've done, we'll fix it!

ok lol i guess that was just the panic in my talking, uhh idn what i did, i just pressed the home button and the button on top and than it went cool, suh-weet, what a relief...

edit-can you help me? i tried to different methods, one using winrar, and than ibrick, that froze my ipod

the other i used winscp but it couldn't connect to my ipod

Hacking/jailbreaking your iPod isn't a long process at all, which method are you using, manual 72 step, 33 step, or automatic?
If you use touchfree, the automatic jailbreak, it takes only a minute or two, then you go into installer and can install NES

oh to actually jailbreak my ipod i just go safari and go to www.jailbreakme.com

easy and quick

the getting of roms is the hard part....i got NES on the desktop of my ipod,

yup. ive always wanted a laptop but never wanted a mac untill i started useing them in school. they are really fun to use and really simple to figure out. i just wish the Pros came in black

haha yeah. At the time I got my MacBook I didn't know if I wanted to spend the money on the black MacBook. I wish I did now. I have the lame white one.

Anyway, I can't wait until I get back from Germany and can drool over my 24 inch iMac. The first time I turn it on I'll probably pass out from the overwhelming feeling of joy and happiness. Oh plus my iPhone will be there too.

im so close at getting an ipod touch. my old one broke, a video ipod (5th generation) and the lady from the apple co. told me that they might give me a new one since they dont make them anymore.
