Nah, my first console was a Mega Drive, which I got for xmas 1991 along with Sonic the Hedgehog. My memory doesn't seem to go that far back though (so no tearful nostalgia for me then), but apparently I was quite happy.

first console i remember getting was n64, my dad and i played it for hours the first day and were blown away by how "real" james bond and the bad guys looked
