Well being the cheap ass I am. I decided to try and make my own Dreamcast keyboard so I can play Typing of the Dead. I bought a Dreamcast controller for $2 to use as a donor. Wouldnt it be as easy as cutting the wires from a pc keyboard and Dreamcast controller and interchanging them so that the pc keyboard plugs into the controller port?
Is there a specific device in the Dreamcast keyboard that tells the Dreamcast that it's legit?

Any help is appreciated.
