Little Off Subject-PS3 controllers
The PS3 lets users to have up to 7 controller ports !
What do you guys think of this ?

I think when they said that they meant 7 bluetooth devices and PS3 controllers happen to use bluetooth, but I don't believe 7 people will be able to play on one PS3.
As you can see, on the back of the PS3 controller below there are four lights, which means 4 players. If they were going to have more than 4 players on one PS3, they probably would have made it 8 rather than 7 anyway.

The only game, in my opinion, that would work on 1 screen with 8 players, is Smash Brothers Brawl. I hope they include up to 8 players on the 1 screen, as we need that for playing Melee at uni. We're always switching out players when they lose. Guess it adds variety, but no one wants to play anything besides their best character... Except me and a mate. Anyway, way off topic.
None of the games I've seen for PS3 would be any good for 8 player split-screen.

the wii can't do it though, only 7 devices can be used with one bluetooth adapter
