I was hoping that was the reason.
EDIT: I'm an idiot. I asked a question you had already given an answer for.
What color will you be going with? Yellow again or something new?

That's OK, I think I was little vague before - I might have even implied I was doing a motor swap (I think I just mentioned the 427).
I like the C5 yellow (Millenium Yellow) better than the C6 variant (Velocity Yellow), plus I think to feel even more like a different car I'm going to go with a different color.
I'll likely do red or black - I've had two other black Vettes, they look amazing, and I really didn't mind the additional upkeep). Never owned a red one (even though All Corvettes Are Red). Red and Black are nice because all of the special color touches are in red (FRCs, calipers, logos, stitching, etc).
I'm a big fan of the new Jet Stream Blue, but I think a color that's not classic will wear thin very quickly. Sam with Atomic Orange - I think it would wind up being a little "gimmicky" for lack of betters terms.
Black is very high on the list - hard to argue with this:

Very hard to argue with that. I personally love black cars/trucks you name it. The C6Z is beautiful no matter what color you get, but you definitely cannot go wrong with Black or Red, I personally like black with red touches like you mentioned. Though I'm not sure what blue you're talking about, but if its the same blue as the ZR1 then I'd be down for that.

This is the new JSB - pretty stunning in pics - alot like Atomic Orange in that it's highly affected by the lighting conditions. A buddy of mine George just bought one in this color.
My verdict is still out on the current body colored wheels trend, but it's one of the best pics of the car:

Not a fan of the blue lip on the wheel, but I like black wheels. Also great color, might be a little too light for me, but still looks good.

Yeah, I think you and I are more ol' school when it comes to wheels - I don't think a polished wheel will ever go out of style. Heck, even chrome works on some cars.
Another buddy of mine with a black Z just had his stockers powercoated - looks pretty cool (and I guess sort of "spooky") but I think the wheels on the black Z above are *much* better.
The only color treatment I kind of like is a black car, black wheels with just a small red pinstripe around the outer lip. It works decent with the red calipers and doesn't overwhelm the wheel with color - it also gives you a custom look for pretty low cost (~$450 for PC, ~$550 with a stripe).

Yea I have the polished on the stang, but if I were to change I'd probably throw a set of all black wheels on there.
I actually like the stock Z wheels, but you can find some unbelievable aftermarkets, that put the stockers to shame.
Can't say I've seen what you're describing with the red pinstripe, but with red calipers I can visualize it working well. Price isn't too bad like you said.
Since we are talking wheels I'm thinking I want to throw some of these on my jeep once I get it lifted 4-6 inches, probably with some 33" tires.

I got a question
Right.
When buying a private number, for example:
X12 XXX
That would be the format of the number plate. But is it possible/legal to change the format? Making it like:
X 12XX X

you ca only change the format in the ways that your goverment transport people allow.

but the prestiege is around $ 1,200

Yeah, it varies (here in the US) between states - in Florida for example, you're allowed 7 characters plus a space or a hyphen (if you choose certain custom design tags, the characters are limited to 5).

Ohh right, hopefully it'll be different here. Hope so. Thanks DT and Liger.
Another question, for anyone that knows about CD players/head units.
Which is better? :
DEH-P85BT or DEH-P9800BT or DEH-P800BT?
(All Pioneer)
Basically, I want one with Bluetooth and iPod control, which includes the charger cable so it controls on the head unit.
And also, will it work if I imported it?
Specifications
DEH-P85BT: http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products...5BT/index.html
DEH-P9800BT: http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products...0BT/index.html
DEH-P800BT: http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products...0BT/index.html
Or any recommendations? Preferably under £300.
Please and thankyou's!

Well the 9800 will give you the most features, both the 85bt and 800bt will be fine for what you're wanting. Pioneer makes good head-units, I've had a total of three to date, and no complaints.

A buddy of mine dropped his '06 Z off with the Vette Drs. in NY - I was chatting with him an hour or so ago, got the call that it's ready (though he won't be able to pick it up still Saturday, hahaha, he's losing his mind).
