It's one of the 2-3 best shows on TV. The writing, acting, production, etc., are all outstanding. It's got a nice slow burn, not unlike a really solid novel.
We didn't start until Season 2, so we started with S1 on DVD - once we started watching, we knocked the whole thing off in one [long] weekend.
HIGHLY recommended.
