-Something for DT to run his eyes over: I was in that cocktails bar again last night, and I got a mojito. However, it was possibly the worst ever attempt at making it. The kid (he must have been 18, but he looked about 12) put the sugar in a glass, then added a load of sliced limes, followed by far too many mint leaves. He then poured in the rum and attempted to mash. Then the lady behind the bar pointed out that he was using the wrong glass, so on his attempt to pour the mixture into a new glass, the wet sugar just stayed behind. Next he added the 'crushed' ice, even though he failed at crushing and might as well of just thrown some full ice cubes in, then added the soda water. Mixing was minimal, leaving me with half a glass of pure soda water, a layer of ice, then rum-soaked limes and mint. It was possibly the most foul tasting thing that has ever passed through my lips. Worse than chilly tequila. And it looked like pond water with weeds floating round. Shocking.
-Need more food. Wotsits are good, but don't fill ones self. Can't be arsed making anything proper.
-Might hit the sack soon.
