I tried to access a file or even a folder on another network and heres what came up:
You might not have permission to use this network resource,. Contact the administrator of the service to find out if you have access permissions

access is denied

i made sure that the file sharing is on and my computer is allowed to access it otherwise i wouldn't even be able to see the folder,so how can i access the network?

when i access a folder and go to the sharing section the share button is not selectable

So your basically trying to access folders on another pc through a network...You could try turning on Intranet. Is this your friends computer or just some random wireless connection?

I thought you could only share things from Windows Media Player..I guess I can't help..
