it tastes better that way IMO
keeps the milk colder longer
nobody likes warm cereal... (not oatmeal)

Not here, *but* we do put peanut butter in the fridge (though if you use natural/organic, it keeps it nice and thick).
We also do *not* put ketchup in the fridge (and used to not put mustard, but it appears to have migrated into the fridge lately).
