Really? Well I have some friends that are on snare, quads, and bass. Though I'm not too sure about tenors. Good luck with that though.

I remember reading about that in my Bio course a couple years ago, essentially based on that "theory" oxygen is slowly killing us via the "free-radicals" if I remember correctly.

With that logic, we were 'programmed' with the intentions of being able to live forever?

Well that assumes there was a 'programmer'... Anyway, nothing lasts forever. Even if we didn't age, entropy would eventually see to it (Physics note: entropy is a kind of measure of the amount of 'unavailable' energy in a system. According to the Second Law of Thermodynamics, the entropy of a closed system, such as the Universe, always increases. Hence, eventually the Universe will no longer have any useful energy left and life will not be able to exist).

I think all drugs should be legal.
Who would you rather be dealing the drugs:
The government, which would provide warning labels in order to inform people of the dangers of them, and would also make them require you to be of legal age to buy them.

OR

Street drug dealers who would never inform people of the dangers of them and would also willingly sell them to minors.

The truth is that drugs are here and available, there is nothing the law can do about that. I can get weed easier than I can get alcohol usually.

Yes, but only if there is indisputable evidence against the murderer, and the murder was done in cold blood. If you murder someone you deserve to be killed yourself.

I actually like how some ancient societies dealt with murders. If you kill someone else's daughter, they kill your daughter (if you have one). It's much more gruesome (IMO), but would be more effective in some cases, I think.

But an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
I agree that people should be punished for what they do, but, in my opinion, nobody has the right to kill another person (even the government)

Eye for an Eye, can be effective, but would definitely not be accepted by today's society.

I definitely disagree with that, but, your opinion.

I realize that. Especially with all the modern day liberals.

Thankfully we're more civilized than that now. A person should not be punished for the crimes of their family.

Makes you think a lot more about what you've done/are doing, however. You're not thinking about what will happen to you, but what will happen to those close to you.

Like I said though, it's gruesome, and wouldn't be effective a lot of the time. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but sometimes I wish it were so in order that criminals didn't get off so easy (getting death, or life in jail).

No, I don't think we should be implementing capital punishment. Not only does it cost more than life in prison (Yes, you heard me correctly) but I personally believe that life in prison would be a worse punishment. I've yet to understand why life in prison is not considered torture, because I would personally consider it to be one of the worst forms of torture.
