I've heard it many places, but most recently in a post by sremick in the "Opinion about guns" thread. Sadly I don't know the original source of the quote, I'm sure some googling could find it, but I'm tired, and a Wii bit intoxicated at the moment.
My phobia would have to be fear of failure/fear of being a disappointment.
