Why is the sky sometimes blue and sometimes red?
(To whoever can actually tell me the correct answer: congratulations, you're not quite as dumb as I had assumed.)
It's because of the angle at which the light from the Sun enter the atmosphere. When the Sun is on the horizon, the photons entering the atmosphere have to pass through much more air than when the Sun is high in the sky, hence the light is scattered to red wavelengths rather than blue.

So were you assuming the respondent was potentially dumb? Did you know in advance who might attempt an answer? (Since you pre-assumed their dummy status) Was there a pool of dummies that rise above that label with a correct answer? By not answering are you not assuming the non-responders are dumb?
Just trying to determine the logistics of the post!

Over 90% of the people who inhabit the internet are fckin' stoopid so my "assumption" technically had more fact behind it than most textbooks.
oooh I'm going to ask you guys about a really stupid argument me and my friend it's really retarded:
IS THE SKY ALWAYS BLUE?
I say no because of sunsets and night time and stuff. He argued that at night it is still technically blue there is just no light reflecting off of it, which is i fair argument i guess. But still, sunsets can make the sky lots of colors so I think I'm right, then again thats mainly the clouds.
What u guys think?

You're both wrong, the sky is never blue. Sometimes, solar rays appear blue.
no the molecules in the sky appear blue because solar rays reflect of them.
