Why would someone contact me in what seemed to be a gesture of friendship when the real motivation was only to "borrow" money? Then when I said I really couldn't do it, that was it - hell, I thought Adam wanted to chit chat and be friendly.

Asking pretty much a stranger (Who you know is well off in economical terms) for money to go see their girlfriend off a forum isn't really respectable business is it, especially if afterwoods you tell them to get over themselves.
It was rather petty and the fact Brawny had no intent of paying it back was just plain rude, he expected just to ask a friend and use him for money? |

Exactly and it's not like Adam makes a point of being secretive - he broadcasts every personal intention across the lounge area with a bullhorn.
If you don't want your personal info repeated, don't MSN strangers and ask for random monetary favors. The really sort of sad part is, it wasn't something that was completely off base if a little friendship had been cultivated - it was ask, no? OK, you're a douchbag.
FWIW, I think my name coming up [re: that list] is funny (and wow, are people here sensative ) My skin is WAY too thick to get put off by something like that. I'm considering my contribution(s) done

I don't think a person has to be sensative to note big heads. Too thick? I heard differently after the first post.
