as we all know, dreams are messages from our subconcious mind. if something in our lives are troubling us BAD ENOUGH, we most likley will have bad dreams, well, how come in every dream i have i am fully capable of walking but i can never run? i try to but my legs wont let me. and anytime i have a dream of like a fight, or a nightmare where im against some creature or something, i cant punch hard? the swing starts out strong, but ends up just being a tap, like my arm just lost power?

I respect my mother
With every step I take
She was there for my first step
In the first place
Everybody wants out on their own
Now that I'm grown
I wanna be back home
In a world full of vipers
Only my mother's love was righteous
I feel I've been to hell and back three times I could
Looking for a story to share
With somebody, but they never seem to care
cause my mom is right here

Definitely no expectations, IMO. I'm curious as to why Napalm said the opposite, though.
Having high expectations means you're more likely to be upset when something doesn't go well.
Meanwhile, if something goes well, having high expectations means you're simply satisfied. If you had no expectations, you could end up very pleasantly surprised.

as opposed to no expectations where you just can't motivate yourself to do what you want to do?
and being upset when something doesn't go well? Pretty sure that's a universal emotion right there...
and about the dreams. Everyone has dreams where they can't run or fight properly, but they also have dreams were they can do those actions perfectly.

I guess I'm just the laid-back type of person who doesn't fret about every little thing. Having no expectations of myself doing something means I can be delighted when I succeed, and simply shrug it off if I fail at it.
