I won the 360 as a prize and i did enjoy GoW and DoA4, but it's nothing really to buy a system over in my opinion.
I bought a PS3 for MGS4, Tekken and to a lesser degree, FF13, even though the last 5 have sucked.
To be honest, these next gen consoles are pretty pathetic as of late. I don't play the wii, my PS3 and my 360 died. No games are really that special any more.
With my PS1, i spent SO much time playing SO many different kinds of games. That was gamning.
