Random question, does anyone here purposely isolate from the world?

The world meaning social life locally, yes.
I can talk to my friends, but I always found that I was the one to invite them places, and they never did anything, like they just didn't want to bother me. Eventually I just decided to see what they'd do without me, nothing. They just made my school life a little more comfortable, I guess. :/
When I get breaks from school I very rarely leave the house. My mum does absolutely everything for me. If she makes me and my sister go out we will burn with natural light. Seriously, that damn stings your eyes. xD
Actually, my sister is my best 'real' friend. I don't really need to leave the house.

Yay for isolation.
I tend to overthink certain situations. I'll be hanging out with a friend that I've known for 10 years and he'll say something and I'll be like: ...Does that mean he doesn't want me around? Maybe I should go. What did I do wrong?
I suppose that's normal on occasion, but something like that will happen every five minutes. I constantly feel like I'm bothering someone. I'm truly comfortable around very few people, and over time I've used that as an excuse to isolate myself, which has caused relationships with friends to become even more awkward.
That's the biggest reason I'm on here most of the time- because I'm actually comfortable talking to you guys due to the lack of personalization. It's rather stressful to be on-guard all day. However, I am naturally comfortable in being alone. I would be much more comfortable thinking things to myself all day than coming in contact with other people the entire day. I don't really need to be social.

Mmm, not really. There's alot of stupid people in this world indeed, but I don't let them ruin things for me when outside. If people start really irritating me, I have the tendency to punch them in the gut or face (bad habit I guess).. But that hardly happens these days for me, mainly only happened during my school years.

First off Answer your own question after this!
I don't really isolate myself from the world. I really wanna make the world focus on me. I mean I don't get shy, I will say HI! to a complete non scary stranger. I make speeches to the whole High School etc. Hmmmm I like to be alone at home sometimes. I like to socialize alot. Like if it's just a bunch of people in a circle just talking then that's just awesome. Maybe that's why I'm on here all the time. When me Mom took away texting I guess I just had to talk! If I have something on my mind I will say it! (Teachers get mad when I do this without raising my hand)

You can get a lot out of the internet.
Public speaking doesn't affect social life, nor is it an enjoyable experience. I wouldn't do it willingly, wish I could though. That maay help me out in life. D:
My friends always just walk around the city centre. What happened to going to people's houses? My feet hurt after all that.

I guess not but I'm just saying I don't get shy easily. And it is actually pretty fun. It tests you. And yes it would help you in life
Blah I hate/like that sometimes. If friends are shopping and mingling than that's cool but mostly in high school our group of friends walks throughout the whole school talking. Most groups have their own circle spot but nope no stupid freshmen and Excel is usually before Gym!
Also it is spelled wouldn't and may.

That'd be scary if you did isolate yourself from all people, Nicky..

I noticed wouldn't afterwards. I've said like a week ago that WiiChat just adds countless amounts of typos into my stuff. =/ Maay was supposed to be like that, tone. D:
Public speaking isn't a test, it's just that I usually have to prepare stuff, when that happens I just cock up because I'm trying to focus on getting it right. I'd rather do it spontaneously like my GCSE speech. I just stood there with nothing to read off of. Still managed to stumble on loads of words like. =/
My friends don't wait for me to finish eating and then peg it outside. I freaking hate that about them. I'd rather just sit in McDonald's for a while.

I laugh at people who can't stand up and say a speech to other kids well. I mean why the **** to you get scared? I love spontaneously speeches though. I do it alot if I do a presentation. I'm not the type to stare down are read an index card.
Your friends are soo nice. Personally we eat then talk and then go. lol. Also is the McDonald's in England different? The Canadian McDonalds is like 20x more better than it's American counter part.

See marriage DOES change your life. It's already made Nicky's life a lot more duller and boring!

Nerves are made so that your body knows when it is in harms way. If you place your hand on a stove you want to know that it is burning before it starts getting worse.
