As long as I'm hated enough already, I'll quickly outline it.
Homosexuality is wrong. You are called to live a chaste life (or start). Where most Christians say, "we need to reject them because they're evil", I say we need to embrace them. It's the most difficult calling there can possibly be, and we need to support them.
There are just as many straight people that are called to be chaste.
I don't see how it's so different. Hate the sin, not the sinner. You (no specific person) want me to fully accept you in all that you do, but when I share my beliefs, but I do not condemn you to hell, how am I still in the wrong?

If you would have said something along the lines of the following, I would have found nothing wrong with it, other than my disagreement with your opinion:
