Going to a Christian school, we all grew up believing in God. I have no real religious emphasis anymore, and I just don't agree with a lot of things that are in the Bible; both spiritually and philosophically.
I believe in science.
EDIT:
Fair enough, haha. I need to read my astrobiology books again. Thanks for the heads up, though.

I don't have a Wii, plus it wouldn't matter where I am, I don't care what any government thinks, they can't do anything about it, it doesn't exactly effect them in any way, I'm just another person who dislikes their way of thinking and their way of running the country.
I believe in the Big Bang Theory, but I believe that is how God created the universe. I believe in evolution as darwin explained it to the queen, who would have beheaded him if his theory did not fit together with christianity. The animals today evolved from the original animals that were saved on Noah's Ark. Evolution does occur, but not to the extent that humans have evolved from monkeys.
Everyone always asks the black and white question of science vs religion, and really its not hard to integrate the two.

Wow, I knew I liked you for some other reason than just being a Michigander.

Question:
Is there anyone who used to be religious then became atheist, or anyone who used to be atheist and is now religious? What changed your mind?
Kinda for me, I used to be a Lutheran and now I'm agnostic. What made me change my mind is that I think too much pretty much, so I convinced myself that a lot of the things in religion made no sense. And after further thinking I realized we really don't know anything at all about the beginning of life/time, it's all just guess work.
I mean think about it, if there was a higher power, then how did that higher power get there in the first place?
This can be said for just about any theory of the beginning of life/time. Sure you can say what things started life, but how did the things that started life get there?

What do you think of your school system? Do you think it should be changed?
I personally think that they should put us in classes (and perhaps even schools) according to our ability. I've got no sympathy for kids that don't take education seriously and I don't think that its fair that I can't listen to a lecture because the two idiots behind my are too busy talking about their weekend. Screw the soccer-mom's that are worried about their kid getting put into all of the stupid classes, I want a serious enviornment to learn in.
