There aren't any where I'm from, but I lived in Canada for all my life so. Some people think that Canadians live in iglus. Thats not even true in the north. I'm not even going to go into the eh steroetype because Canadians actually say it a lot. I even do. |

Stereotypes of New Zealand...
- Māori and Pākehā generally dislike each other
- Rural, pioneer-ish, backwoods-bottom-of-the-world type folk
- Kiwi women are butch, angry feminists
- Everyone plays rugby, owns sheep, and eats kiwis
Stereotypes of Canada are pretty much covered. But, I, for one, DO NOT say "eh". I guess it's because I live in Toronto. Most people here have a hard enough time speaking English, let alone adopting local verbal mannerisms. It hasn't been a learned behavior for me.

Its true people don't say it as much in Toronto because its the city in Canada which is under the most american influence. I don't live in north york, but I still live in Toronto and I say eh all the time. Except when I'm typing.  |

Hahah I don't think it has anything to do with American influence, it has to do with there being 4723894738294782394672343 immigrants who can barely speak English so they haven't gotten around to implementing "eh" yet :P

I live in Richmond Hill. Its a really mulitcultural town in the GTA. I go to Scarborough every week. Well in my town we don't really have too many people who can't speak enlgish. The thing is that you can't come to Canada unless you know english or french or you have family so yeah. I think I got the habit of saying eh from my mom. |
