When I was listening to a Thomas Newman song a few mins ago

Last time I felt inspired was sitting in the Toronto Convention Center for the Idol auditions. I shared a common purpose with these people, we all had a love for music and thought ourselves to be talented. There aren't many times in life where you're surrounded by like-minded people all working towards a similar goal. It's strangely comforting and definitely inspiring.
The last time I was inspired was when I was reading about the lives of the photographers I dream to be like. I was reading about the explorers in residence with National Geographic, their amazing. Jane Goodall is one of them, that woman's amazing.
My original concept of this thread was to ask a SPECIFIC person something (vs. a question posed to whoever feels like responding). Then we'd have a clear Q-and-A sort of workflow
Now there are few people who ask a generic question, get +one+ reply then ask another, and another and ANOTHER. Like E-to-the-M-M-A said, it really dilutes the potential juiciness of this thread.
Just my $0.02.

I got through. I was told that I have a good voice and look like a star, but I'm void of any personality or confidence. Apparently I'm supposed to work on that before the next round.
...I'm just not extroverted, energetic or bubbly in person, and that's typically what they're looking for.

Members come and go all the time. Trust me, I've seen many people disappear from here.
Very true. WWL2P was gone for a while, but she came back. I think Idjut will come back at some point. Quite a few people have left and come back at some point.
