Nintendo doesn't even sell/support that wifi adapter anymore. For the price difference between that and a wireless router, it's not worth the hassle. You should just sell it and rid yourself of the headache.
I seem to remember the Nintendo wifi adapter having issues with Vista.
And your general experience with Vista is the norm: it's a bloated piece of slow junk. On any given hardware, it will run 25-33% slower than XP on the same hardware. There's really nothing of value to the consumer in Vista... Microsoft mainly just produced it to generate more income for themselves and to pacify the media companies who want more DRM. And the sweet thing is, they can make people upgrade simply by ceasing support for XP.

God This computer has 3G of RAM
and a 500G hard drive (Too much I know lol)
Yet if I try to download WoW from online via the 10 day free trial..
ITS SO SLOW It gave me an estimated time of 52 hours to 36 hours..
Anyway to speed this puupy up.
I'll prob need vista 64 bit to upgrade my ram to 8 G's
Not happening >.<
ok so your have a good amount of RAM, and your HD space is good. yet your downloads is slow, thats got nothing to do with your RAM or your version of vista.
Either you have a slow internet connection or like someone else stated, got you something hogging your net connection. Test your internet speed at speedtest.net and post the results.
don't go buying more ram or vista 64 bit.
Also 500GB isn't much i got a total of 1.5TB's of disk space for my iMac.
Have you tried getting WinPatrol to see what exactly is running and what tries to run, not to mention merely pulled up the task manager to see what else is running under your name?
Also, is anyone else on the network, say, downloading stuff?
Oh.
Never.
Ever.
Ever.
Call Geek Squad.

The online is legit and damn good.
A petition isn't going to do jack squat. Microsoft is going to put XP out to pasture and make everyone move to Vista if they want to continue using Windows. That means more money for them. A petition doesn't. It's a waste of time.
You want to really make a difference? Stop using Windows. Get a Mac. Tell all your friends and family to do the same. Or explore alternative OSes like Linux or FreeBSD, both of which don't cost a penny and are fun to learn.
My girlfriend went into her first Apple store today and was immediately in-love. She's never owned a Mac but after seeing them and all the different options, she's upset I let her buy a Windows laptop a few months ago.
