For those who are old enough to drink, or do a decent amount of drinking, how much do you drink normally and what is your favorite drink? All I drink is vodka and red wine. Vodka redbull is my favorite drink... and it's probably horrible for you since I'm mixing a stimulant and depressant.

Personally I gave up the hard stuff a couple years ago, I only drink beer now. In a casual situation where I'm either watching tv or gaming I'll drink about 3 to 5, if I'm hanging out with friends and we're pretty much just drinking I'll down anywhere from 9 to 12, and sometimes more.

I'm not really much of a drinker, but when I do I usually have 1 or 2 pints of lager (I'm certainly not a heavy drinker).

It all depends on what I'm doing I think. If I'm just watching TV in the evening, I'll just have some Whiskey. If I'm going out with mates, I can't usually remember what's happened because I'm usually pissed out me head, and have the worst hang over in the morning.

Sorry to answer what I drink going out with my mates, usually light stuff first, then maybe a small whiskey if I feel like it.

Friday or Saturday night I'll have something light, like a Smirnoff ice or something only one or two though.

At my fathers house if we have a party I'll usually be on the white wine or for other occasions like Christmas I'll be on the Jack Daniels.

When I'm out I'll normally be drinking Smirnoff ice or if I'm in the mood some cider, usually Strongbow.

I drink only at parties, which is usually on the weekends. I just found myself a new vodka called Boru. That stuff goes down like water, and if you aren't careful...you could be drunker sooner than you think.

I've got to get me some of that stuff.

Mostly I drink JD (on its own mixed is for losers)
But alass I havent been able to afford any kind of drink for the past few mounths

I haven't drank anything in over a month, since I quit smoking. I liked to smoke when I drank and haven't felt an urge to do any drinking. I liked wine, honey brown, Jack Daniels and some Colorado micro-brews. No plans on drinking again any time soon. Maybe this summer if I go camping.

JD+Coke is my favorite, but I like vodka. I recently tried the deadly combo of vicatin+vodka and nearly died... so Ima wait a bit before I drink it again, lol.

I don't really drink much now, usually beer when I do drink.
Favorite beer would have to be either corona, telcante, or XX. With lime of course.

If I do drink liquor I prefer dark liquors such as rum. I usually go with something cheap, brand doesn't make much of a difference when you are mixing.

Me and my iron liver prefer anythin above 25-30% alcohol. The harder the liquor the better.

I don't drink frequently (maybe once a month or two) so it's cool to burn my insides every now and then.

Never beer though, can't stand it. Tastes like piss and gingerale

We drink on the weekends and social occasions but try to refrain during the week (just to make a point of not being habitual about it)

I'd say we drink a decent amount of [good] Wine - we attend a few tastings around town, and have friends that are in with a few local owners/chefs that throw tasting parties - don't do too many big Cali reds lately as they're all a bit rushed (I'm huge on New Z/Aussie Shiraz right now)

We also enjoy a nice import beer - Guinness, Bass, OSH, Smithwicks, etc., and a few boutique brand domestics liks Sam Adams.

I'm a bit of a connoisseur of fine single malts - my current fave is a hand select 21 year Glenlivet Archive which is just amazing.

If the mood is right, we'll do a mixed drink (kind of a by-the-pool sort of thing).

Here's something we picked up - this is a *real* Cuba Libre (not to be confused with a Rum~n~Coke you drink at a Frat House )

- Get a tall cocktail glass (yes, GLASS)

- 1/2 a lime and muddle it in the bottom

- Fill with ice

- Put in a shot of GOOD rum - I'd suggest a 17 year Mount Gay Extra Old

- Add the cola - HOWEVER, this is VERY important - get Mexican Coca-Cola - it's made from real sugar vs. HFCS - the different is astounding (about 2:1 > cola:rum) Available @ mexgroc.com or your local Mexican grocer (we have a fantastic one < 5 miles away)

- Top with a lime garnish

- Enjoy the ++original++ 100 year old drink

To me, having alcohol in something = ruining a perfectly good drink.
I will order a coke anywhere, including in a club, if my "friends" don't make a fuss. If they do, it's a tropical orange smoothie flavor Bacardi Breezer. It tastes alright, but it'd be better without the alcohol :\

Beer is the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. Don't even tell me "there are so many different types of beers, I'm sure you'll like one", because...just...NO.

I drink on the weekends..need to let loose from the work week. If im just drinkin socially ill have a Jack and Coke but if i wanna have a good night ill drink Long Island Ice Tea.
