Figured this was the best thread to post this:
I *HIGHLY* recommend Adorama for online camera and equipment purchases +and+ for buying prints online.
We just made our 3rd print purchase through them - they have a terrific web UI, fast, pretty easy, dozens of options for paper, size, etc. This is the 3rd time we've ordered and had them ship same day (without any expedite order)! 4x6's @ $0.15 each and constant specials (like $1.50 8x10's or this week, $2.49 11x14's).
They've been around for years as a well respected, traditional camera and print provider and their digital and online service is just as good. They actually have B&M in NYC if you're in the area.
FWIW, Shutterfly, Flickr, Photobucket and some of the other hosting services use some top tier labs for print processing too (I've seen samples, they look good), but I really like the CS at Adorama (like giving me my freebies a week after they expired no questions asked.

FYI, be very careful about shops other than the majors like Adorama, B&H Photo and of course Amazon, etc. If you see gear that's a good 25-40% less than the aforementioned, it *is* in fact too good to be true.

Thanks for the heads up, do they go to the UK too?
I've been looking at companies that do this online, get most of the info and that from the photography forums I visist. I'm probably going to be making another portfolio this year.
Ohh I had some great shots the other day. There was a helicopter hovering above my house for about 5 minutes.. ran outside grabbing my camera and my new lense, click click click in my pajamas!
The same day I went to my local park too, met a cool tog there, sat with him for about two hours just chatting! I haven't had a chance to put them onto the PC yet though.

I just took a quick look at their shipping info, and it doesn't appear that they do (though it might be worth an email).
Though like I mentioned, most of the online photo album sites have printing as a service, about the same prices and most use a reputable lab for processing. I've been tempted to order a few through Photobucket just for fun, but we keep getting this crazy specials via Adorama, and they've been so good, I haven't been inclined to use another service. The only reason I'm using Pbucket is I liked the video options, though I haven't even really used it much. My friends who are designers/photographers swear by ShutterFly. FYI, in addition to regular prints you can get mugs, calendars, all sort of stuff with your pics!
I need to get out and shoot some new stuff, as you might suspect, hahaha, most of my recent subject matter has been very specific.

So, I had a go at the weather theme last night. A storm rolled in riiight after I finished pulling my stuff off the grill. I thought I would try to get some lightning pics. Unfortunately, I only got one that actually captured the lightning, and it kinda sucked. I might try to crop it and clean it up.
But, for now, here is what I got. Not sure it really captures the theme that well. I got stuck at the drawbridge, and decided to pull to the side and shoot a few.

This thread will liiiive. Plus, we have a new tog about the scene, Deanis!
Anyways, got caught in a horrible shower on the way home this evening. But when I was walking into the house there was a rainbow! So rushed around trying to get CF card, camera etc and by the time I got out it had gone! Same ol' story for Rach. But there was a nice sky, I was rushing so didn't get the settings spot on, but I did kinda like these two..
I think the first would look a lot better with a little touch up in photoshop, however I haven't got it anymore, so. Looking at it, a UV filter would have helped too I reckon.
