It's without a doubt an excellent game - one of the best I've ever played. Wouldn't say it's the best though...Ocanrina isn't the best either (IMO). Everyone has their own opinions.

How can you trust a rankin that has the same game twice

Ocarina and Melee are the best game of all time through a fanboy's (no offense) eyes. If your not one of those guys screaming, "NINTENDO I LOVE YOU!!!!!" you might think a game other than a Ninty game is the best game of all time. I myself prefer GTA4

Orange Box is listed twice, but one is the PC version and the other is the 360 version.



Zelda and GTA are two very different types of games. Some people will prefer one over the other regardless of what other people say or what the review rankings say.

Awh, that kind of makes me sad. I'm not a fan girl or anything for any particular console but Ocarina of time has always had a special place in my heart as it's one of the only games i can play over and over and never get bored of. For GTA to get to the top this quickly seems so unfair as it can't be possible for so many people to have even done half the game let alone completed it! I know it's all down to personal opinion and i respect that but...Ocarina of time!! ='(

For one thing, GameRankings doesn't even review games, they just collect together scores from other sites. So there's no reason not to trust the list - they're just reporting the scores, not creating them. I'm sure there were PC gaming sites that only reviews the PC version of Orange Box and some sites that only reviewed the 360 or PS3 version. In that they'll have a different set of scores. If they both score highly, then they'll both be on the list. And they don't always score the same as you can see. Orange Box was also on the PS3 but got a lot of flak for being a crummy port compared to the 360 and PC.

There are a lot of duplicates like that, but they're the different versions.

Congrats to GTA IV. I know some people have their problems with the GTA series for one reason or another, but I like the games.

However, I too have a problem with the inclusion of the same games on different formats on that list.

Notably, on Metacritic it has a rating of 99%. Even Edge rated it 10/10!

no exactly. the console versions dont play anywhere near as good as the PC version (imo). the controls are clunky and its harder to play because of it.
