My friend's bungalo in Scarborough (suburb in Toronto) just sold for $365,000. A freaking small bungalo. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
I don't know where you guys live, but I want to move there.
Toronto is a RIDICULOUSLY expensive city to live in.
One bedroom condos go for like $279,000 here.

Haha, yea cheapest, nice condos down here go from the upper $200,000s and that is like 20/30 minutes from the beach. If you were to get a condo near the beach or downtown, it's ridiculous.

even if its not in a city..average price of a home in 2004 was $264,540..and thats in the suburbs here in NY...now in 2008 it has almost doubled...

Yea even with the market out, real esate is always on the rise and hardly ever declines unless the surrounds, well go to trash. But the best time to buy a house is the summer time. I cant really get into it now cuz i got to go but ill fill you in more when i come back.

Funny, because the houses around here and going for dirt cheap. Both my sisters are looking for houses now, one of which hadn't expected to start looking for atleast two year but can't resist the prices.
